The corporation has also decided to generate awareness and organise training campaigns, seminars and run round-the-clock emergency centres.
According to a MCG spokesman, the list of equipment required in disaster situations like earthquake, changing weather, accidents and epidemics has been sent to the state for procurement approval.
He said that Gurgaon has a population of approximately 13 lakh and there are 35 wards under the MCG jurisdiction.
With over 700 high-rise buildings, the city is at risk as it is located on earthquake-prone seismic zone IV on the dangerous Sohna Fault.
