Actor Brooke Shields has revealed that she once turned down a date from current US President, Donald Trump.

The 52-year-old star, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, recalled how Trump called her soon after his separation from second wife, Marla Maples.

“I was on location doing a movie and he called me right after he gotten a divorce,” Shields told Cohen.

“And he said, ‘I really think we should date because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man and the people would love it,” Shields recalled.

“I have a boyfriend, he’s not going to be happy about it,” Shields told Trump.

However, Shields is not the first celebrity to turn down Trump. Actors Salma Hayek, Candice Bergen and Emma Thompson have also spoken out about their encounters with Trump.
