Priyanka Chopra remembers father Ashok Chopra as she visits Golden Temple, here's what she wrote

Actor Priyanka Chopra's India visit has been creating buzz, ever since pictures of her from Amritsar's Golden Temple went viral.

Actor Priyanka Chopra is in India currently, which fans believe is for the shoot of SS Rajamouli's upcoming epic Varanasi. And going by the pictures she has posted on her Stories, her Amritsar trip was incomplete without a visit to the revered Golden Temple- and remembering her dad.

Priyanka shared multiple snaps, and the first one had a special message. She wrote, “Thinking of you dad. Thank you Shiromani gurdwara committee parbandhak committee. And Shri Darbar Sahib management committee for such a blessed visit.” Priyanka's father, late Dr Ashok Chopra, had passed away in 2013 after a long battle with cancer.

Other pictures shared by her included the interiors of the Golden Temple, and one where she is looking at the holy place from afar.

Priyanka's next film, Varanasi, is touted to be among the most anticipated films, considering it's her return to Hindi films after years, and for Rajamouli's direction. It co stars Mahesh Babu.
