Delhi: In 1 hour, 3 burglaries at same Dwarka housing society; ₹70 lakh looted. ‘6-7 guards were on duty’
In a shocking incident, masked thieves targeted Antariksh Apartments in Dwarka, stealing ₹70 lakh in valuables from three flats within an hour.
Residents of Antariksh Apartments in Dwarka Sector 4 were left in shock after three back-to-back burglaries took place within an hour in a single night.

According to a Times of India report, masked thieves entered the gated society by scaling the wall of the generator room and stole valuables worth ₹70 lakh. The incident has raised serious security concerns among residents.
The police have launched an investigation and are scanning CCTV camera footage to identify the culprits. Authorities are also reviewing society’s security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
Thieves broke into the building despite 7 guards on duty
Within an hour, the thieves managed to break into three flats across Blocks D and E, despite the presence of round-the-clock security and the presence of six to seven guards who were stationed at entry points.

The audacity of the crime has left residents shaken, with many expressing concern over their safety.
The Dwarka North police have registered cases, and investigations are underway.
The CCTV camera footage from the complex shows two men scaling the generator room wall and moving around undetected. As per the footage, they used rods and screwdrivers to break open the flat locks. In around an hour, they are seen escaping.

Sanjay Chatterjee, a resident of a sixth-floor Flat in E Block, was in Himachal Pradesh with his wife for his father's last rites when the burglary took place.
"While I was busy with last rites, on March 9, I received a call in the evening from my neighbour informing me that our house lock was broken. Along with mine, two other flats were looted. They informed the police," Chatterjee told TOI.
Upon returning, he found that the front door lock was broken, the almirah locks were smashed, and the entire place had been turned upside down.
The burglars had made off with several irreplaceable pieces of jewellery, including some of his wife’s precious, old heirlooms.

Another flat on the fifth floor of the same building was also broken into. However, since the family had recently moved, they did not suffer significant losses.
Meanwhile, in Block D, resident Anju Sinha, who was attending a housewarming ceremony in Bihar, discovered that her flat had been broken into as well.
“They stole jewellery worth ₹25 lakh, along with other valuables. How could something like this happen in a gated society?” Sinha questioned.
