'Even British didn't arrest anyone for putting posters': Kejriwal slams PM Modi
A 100 years ago, even the Britishers did not arrest anyone for putting up posters, said Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal Thursday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led dispensation for arresting “poor people”, who had allegedly put up anti-Modi posters in the national capital, saying “even during the colonial era, our freedom fighters used to paste posters, but who knew that after 100 years a PM would come and get 138 FIRs registered in one night for putting up posters”, Kejriwal said.

"What's going on? In the last 24 hours, six people have been arrested. There is one printer and other six poor people who were putting up posters. Our country's PM is behind the arrest of one printer and the other six people. Is the PM's health ok?" he added.

The Aam Aadmi Party boss further stepped up his attack on Modi, and said he is suffering from a sleeping disorder, and should consult a good doctor. “There was just a poster of 'Modi Hatao Desh Bachao' which was not a big deal. Why is the PM is so insecure that he is putting everyone in jail? Tell PM to sleep because if he is sleeping for 3 hours it's a problem,”Kejriwal said.

The poster drama unfolded after thousands of posters carrying the slogan "Modi hatao, desh bachao (remove Modi, save the country)" were removed by Delhi Police in a massive operation on Tuesday. Six people, including two owners of a printing press, were arrested and several cases were filed following the incident.
On Thursday, similar posters seeking the ouster of Kejriwal emerged in Delhi. However, the Delhi CM said that those who put up posters against him should not be arrested. "I have no objection to these people who have put up posters against me in Delhi. In a democracy, the public has every right to express their views in favour of or against their leader. Those who put up posters against me should not be arrested", he said.
