Expressing his views on this occasion, State vice-president of the Parishad, Subhash Chand Upadhyay, said the MLA and MP funds were against the spirit of the Constitution and the sting operation conducted by TV channeld in the name of Operation Duryodhan and Operation Chakravyuha had established the fact that the funds were promoting corruption. He further said that multinational companies were weakening our economy.
Continuing the offensive, member of the State working committee of the Parishad, Gunjeshwari Prasad Dubey, said that equality based society could emerge only after introduction of the common school system. He demanded to stop the acquisition of agriculture land by the State government and to stop the privatisation of water.
Prasad demanded transparency in recruitment by the State government. He also suggested that depth of Rapti and Aami rivers should be increased to check reoccurrence of floods. He also expressed displeasure that nationalised banks were charging compound interest from the farmers.
