At least 11 dead in Pakistan road mishap

Eleven people, including four children, were killed when a heavily loaded truck fell into a canal in Pakistan's Punjab province, media reports said on Monday.
The vehicle carrying 25 passengers was nearing Taunsa town on Sunday when it broke an axel and plunged into the canal, the Dawn newspaper reported.
Fourteen people survived the accident. Some were rescued by villagers while others managed to swim to safety.
