Congress on Saturday suspended two former MLAs for contesting against the official nominees in the ensuing assembly poll.

Congress on Saturday suspended two former MLAs for contesting against the official nominees in the ensuing assembly poll.

The two rebel candidates suspended were Akshay Acharya and Ramesh Jena, PCC sources said.

Acharya was contesting against official nominee from Nilagiri seat and jena joined the poll fray from Angul constituency.
