"The decision by BSP is a clear indication that the countdown to the Manmohan Singh government has begun and the allies now no more see UPA as a bankable cheque," party spokesperson Ravi Shanker Prasad told PTI here today.

The saffron party which today called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take a "final call on Nuclear deal" as the country cannot "afford the drama any further", said the BSP move would increase the volatility of the situation.

"The decision by BSP would further increase the volatility of the situation and things would be clearer in the days to come," he added.

The main opposition party said it was keeping a close watch on the developing political scenario and any decision by the party on it would be taken accordingly.

"Its a wait and watch situation for us. The situation is still evolving and any comment is too early now," Prasad said.
