City unit president of the party Chaudhary Irshad Husain said the electronic media had proved the allegation made by the Congress that SP leaders were involved in the illegal trades of narcotic drugs and other criminal activities. He said there was no rule of law in the State and Mulayam had lost the confidence of people.
Vice president of the party Hariz Abdur Rehman, Aslam Parverz, Anil Sonkar, Jamil Ahmad, Bhupendra Pathak, Tasneem Alam and others held the SP government responsible for the miseries of people in the State. It had failed to check spiralling prices of essential commodities. The Congress would highlight the misdeeds of the State government, they said.
