Gulf Indian jailed for molesting kid

While sentencing him, a criminal court asked the authorities to deport him to India after the prison term.

An Indian in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been sentenced to three years in jail for molesting an 11-year-old Bangladeshi girl.

While sentencing the 28-year-old, identified only as H.F., a criminal court Tuesday asked the concerned authorities to deport him to India after the prison term was over.

The Indian and the victim lived in the same neighbourhood of Ras Al-Khaimah, according to Gulf News daily.

During interrogation, the Indian confessed to his crime and said he loved the girl.

Police officials told the court that the brother of the victim caught him red handed and beat him up. Later, some neighbours also joined him in thrashing H.F.
