Myriad Republic Day functions in Bairagarh

Republic Day was celebrated at a number of places in Bairagarh Township on Thursday. School children presented cultural programmes and celebrated the occasion with zeal and enthusiasm.

Republic Day was celebrated at a number of places in Bairagarh Township on Thursday. School children presented cultural programmes and celebrated the occasion with zeal and enthusiasm. Students of Martyr Hemu Kalani Government Higher Secondary School took out a rally from the school chanting slogans of patriotism. Principal Prashant Dolas hoisted tricolour at the school.

At the Methi Govindram Public School, former vice chancellor of Barkatullah University Dr Satish Kumar Shrivastava unfurled the flag. Sidhabhau, disciple of Sant Hirdaram, was also present. Educational institutions run by Sindhu Samaj celebrated the programme at Vikyomal Saraf Hall.

Institutions run by Navyuvak Sabha celebrated Republic Day at Sabha premises. Sabha president Arjun Moorjani hoisted national flag.

Deepmala Pagarani Public School, Lifeline Public School and Brightway Convent School celebrated Republic Day and colourful cultural programmes were organised. Pujya Sindhi Panchayat, Lions club Bairagarh Greater, Sindhu Navjagran Samiti, Press Club Bairagarh and Jan Chetna Manch were among other organisations that celebrated the occasion with zeal. 

Block Congress, Bairagarh celebrated Republic day near statue of Gandhiji at Khimandas market. Freedom fighter Pamandas Manwani hoisted tricolour.
