Anant Patwardhan and Simantini Dhuru have travelled into the heart of Narmada valley to take a hard look at the Sardar Sarovar project that threatens to submerge large tracts of 'adivasi' land in the states of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The documentary examines the need for such dams and their impact on environment and the compensation being dished out to the local displaced inhabitants.
