Young Rajin Saleh has quickly become a mainstay of the Bangladesh batting lineup.

An extremely talented batsman versatile off either foot, he takes an immense pride in maintaining his physical fitness. His tenacity and courage playing against some extremely hostile fast bowling has earned him much praise.

On his debut Test against Pakistan, he batted for almost five hours to make 60 and followed that with two half-centuries in the one-day series.

Rajin is also handy with the ball and is often called upon to bowl his right arm off breaks.
