RCom to hive off DTH business

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group is set to unlock the value of all its businesses under Reliance Communications. According to industry sources, it plans to hive off its direct-to-home and Internet protocol TV businesses into a separate company titled Reliance Digital Works.

It also plans to sell up to 26 per cent stake in Reliance Digital Works. RCOM offers DTH business under the brand name Reliance Big TV. It has about 2.3 million subscribers. HTC/New delhi
