Priyanka Ashok Mali, a tenth grade student in a civic run school took the extreme step past midnight when she was alone in her room, they said.

Her postmortem was later conducted at the Nashik civil hospital, police said adding the reasons behind the suicide is not yet clear.

This is the fifth suicide case in Nashik in the recent time.
