Security forces busted a militant hideout in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered some arms and ammunition, a defence spokesman said on Wednesday.

Based on specific information about the likely presence of warlike stores in Chak Wotu area, troops of Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation and seized one rifle, its one magazine, eight rounds and two radio sets last evening, the spokesman said.

However, no arrests have been made, the spokesman added.
