"Three militants have been killed in the gunbattle which began last night," a police official said.He said the debris of a house where the militants were hiding is being cleared and searches are going on.

The identity and group affiliation of the slain militants is being ascertained.

Security forces launched an operation in Hanjan village in Rajpora area of Pulwama following information about presence of militants there last night.
