UP: Bravery award winner alleges rape by husband, 3 others
The complainant, who was awarded state government’s Rani Lakshmi Bai bravery award in 2015, was allegedly raped by her husband and three others, police said.
A 28-year-old bravery award winner alleged that she was gang-raped by husband and three others on Friday in Kaptanganj village in Azamgarh district, police said.

The complainant, who was awarded state government’s Rani Lakshmi Bai bravery award in 2015, was allegedly raped by her husband and three others, superintendent of police Dayanand Mishra said.
The woman was living with her parents for the past two-three years. On Friday, her husband called her for a meeting in an orchard where she was allegedly raped by him and three others. The victim has been sent for medical examination and the matter is being investigated, police said.
