Water tariff hike on cards in Faridabad

Residents here may have to face a water tariff hike. As the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF) is contemplating hiking water tariff in residential areas, the public representatives want improvement in quantity and quality of water supply. Prabhu Razdan reports.

Residents here may have to face a water tariff hike. As the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF) is contemplating hiking water tariff in residential areas, the public representatives want improvement in quantity and quality of water supply.

Sources said MCF was building a consensus with corporators and general public on hiking water tariff in residential areas of Faridabad.

Some corporators believe that if MCF improves quality and quantity of water, there should be no problem in the hike "We are discussing a possible water tariff hike, but nothing has been decided yet," said NK Katara, chief engineer MCF.
