Winning is a habit
Winning is lingering on to the will of trying. A winner is not made in a day, he has to work for long, maybe years and years to see his day. Divya Kapoor writes.Updated: Dec 09, 2011 00:05 IST
Winning is lingering on to the will of trying. A winner is not made in a day, he has to work for long, maybe years and years to see his day.
I used to consider myself a failure as I was not doing professionally well. No matter how much I studied, I barely got in the 60s; but one day I thought that I am a failure for the world or myself, only if I accept it. So, I made a bookmark saying that failures are not those who fall but for those who refuse to get up when they fall.
Success and failures are the two biggest life lessons: Success should never go to head and failure should never go to heart. Life has a simple phenomenon that what goes up, must come down. It doesn’t matter at what height you are, what matters is how high you bounce when you hit the bottom.
So, I decided never to underestimate myself and boost myself as every individual has a unique talent. Life is not a roller-costar ride as it is said smooth roads never make good drivers and clear skies never make good pilots. If you want to be a winner or be successful, all you have to do is bookmark one thing, “winners are never quitters and quitters are never winners”.
Failures make you strong, it gives you an opportunity to begin more intelligently and tells you that thousands of ways which didn't work out. As someone had said, “Try to discover the road to success and you'll seek but never find, but blaze your own path and the road to success will trail right behind".
Change your thought process and the world around will change.
Here is a valuable saying, “If you lose today, win tomorrow. In this never-ending spirit of challenge is the heart of a victor. If you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time… ”
