Yash Chopra bags Punjab Rattan Award

The first
Punjab Rattan Award
would be conferred on renowned producer-director Yash Chopra for his contribution to the Hindi film industry in Chandigarh on Tuesday.
The award would be presented by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, a spokesman of the State Cultural Affairs department said in Chandigarh on Monday.
On the occasion a 28-minute documentary on Chopra's achievements would be shown while renowned Sufi singers, the Wadali brothers, would enthrall the audience, the spokesman said.
