Akanksha Chaudhary addresses nose surgery rumours
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Akanksha dismissed speculation about getting a nose job, saying, “People are making videos that Akanksha got a nose surgery done. No, I didn’t do anything.” She then opened up about once considering buccal fat removal after being told that a sculpted face was essential for the modelling and pageant industry.
“I was about to start my journey of Miss Universe and several people told me a thousand times that you will have to reduce your cheeks. Only a chiselled face works in this industry. I was told to get my buccal fat removal done. It’s a surgery. I started saving money for it,” she said.
Akanksha revealed that she even travelled to Mumbai to consult a doctor for the procedure and had been saving specifically for the surgery. Recalling how seriously she considered changing her appearance, she said, “I came to Bombay especially to get this surgery done. I had saved a lot of money.”

She also claimed that she drastically cut down on her spending and food intake to save enough money. “I stopped spending money on food and drinks. I used to eat one meal a day, some fruits and watermelons. I used to save money from that,” she revealed.
However, Akanksha eventually decided against undergoing buccal fat removal, noting that the procedure could have permanently changed the shape of her face. Looking back, she said she was glad she did not go ahead with the surgery.
Before considering the surgery, Akanksha also underwent a series of treatments involving injections that were supposed to reduce facial fat. She claimed she underwent the treatment for several weeks, spending around ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 in the process. “I got it done for 4-5 weeks. They used to inject something here. Zero result,” she recalled.
