'Moderation and consistency’: Ankita Konwar shares her running mantra

Ankita Konwar is our inspiration to run every day. The fitness enthusiast and wife of Bollywood actor and model Milind Soman, keeps sharing snippets of her running routine on her Instagram profile. Ankita and Milind believe in focusing their energy and dedication to their fitness routine and their workout snippets are marvels to watch. From working out together and setting couple fitness goals higher to crewing for Milind Soman in his cycling journey from Mumbai to Delhi, Ankita’s fitness game keeps getting better by the day.

On Monday, Ankita kickstarted her week with a routine of running by the beach. A few days back, Ankita and Milind flew to Goa and since then, her Instagram profile is replete with her ventures by the sea. From having freshly cut watermelons with a view to posing for loved-up selfies with Milind to scooping out time for herself and going for a run – Ankita is doing it all. On Monday afternoon, Ankita shared a picture of herself captured while being on her running schedule in the morning. Ankita, dressed in a soft blue sports bra and a pair of black gym shorts, can be seen running barefoot on the beach with the backdrop of the sprawling waters of the sea.

With the picture, Ankita also shared her fitness state of mind in her caption. She wrote that instead of looking at running as a task to be performed, it should be enjoyed. That way, running as a healthy habit can be incorporated in the daily lifestyle. She further added that moderation and consistency is the key to enjoy running. Take a look at her picture here:

Running on the beach helps in burning mega calories. It also helps in resistance training of the body. As the sand creates an unstable medium for the run, it helps in strengthening the weak links. Running on the beach also helps in freshening up the mind with the view of the sea.
