Taking to his official Instagram account, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi posted a candid selfie with his wife, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York. He marked their first wedding anniversary by penning a heartfelt note for the Royal.

Sharing the picture, Edoardo wrote, "I can't believe it has been 1 year. Every second of every day since has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter and love. You are the kindest, loveliest and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you my darling for every second."

After Edoardo posted the picture, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor took to the comments section to wish the happy couple. She wrote, "Happy happy anniversary both of you," with several heart emoticons.

Princess Beatrice had married Edoardo in a scaled-down wedding, attended by close friends and family last July. Queen Elizabeth and her late husband, Prince Philip, were also present at the beautiful ceremony.

Their wedding marked the first time a member of the British Royal Family, since Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, married Prince Charles, stepped into the stepmother's position. Beatrice is co-parenting Edoardo's young son Christopher Woolf from his previous relationship with American architect and designer Dara Huang.

Additionally, Beatrice's younger sister, Princess Eugenie, just welcomed her first child, a son named August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, with husband Jack Brooksbank in February. Beatrice's brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle also welcomed their second child, a daughter, last month. They named her Lilibet "Lili" Diana in the Queen and Princess Diana's honour.
