Lok Sabha 2019 constituency: BJP will aim to retain Dadra and Nagar Haveli
Dadra and Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha seat is the only parliamentary constituency in the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) Natubhai Gomanbhai Patel is the sitting member of Parliament from Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Natubhai Gomanbhai Patel defeated Congress’ Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar by a narrow margin of more than 6,000 votes in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Patel had also won the general election held in 2009 against Delkar.
The Lok Sabha election 2019 will be held on April 23 in the third of the seventh phase on the seat reserved for members of the Scheduled Tribes. The votes will be counted on May 23.
