She will hold a roadshow in Dehradun and address public meetings in Kumaon and Garhwal divisions, senior
Congress leaders said on Tuesday.

Congress national president Rahul Gandhi had addressed a ‘parivartan’ rally in Dehradun on Saturday.

“The dates and places of the meetings are yet to be finalised,” party vice-president Suryakant Dhasmana said, adding the events would be held after March 25.

“The places under consideration for her mass events include Rudrapur, Haldwani, Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal and Uttarkashi. A final decision is yet to be taken but the roadshow will happen in Dehradun, the routes of which are being finalised,” Dhasmana said. “Party members are excited and people are eager to witness her speak and hold a roadshow.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state spokesperson Devendra Bhasin said Priyanka Gandhi’s show would be a failure like that of Rahul Gandhi.

“Her events will make no impact on the election equations and the BJP. People have decided to reject the Congress, no matter which leader comes to campaign in the state,” he said.
