Mandsour Lok Sabha constituency: BJP has lost from here only once since 1989
The BJP has won every election from the Mandsour constituency since 1989 except once in 2009 when the Congress’s Meenakshi Natarajan had defeated the BJP’s Dr. Laxminarayan Pandey.
Mandsour is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh.

The BJP has won every election from the Mandsour constituency since 1989 except once in 2009 when the Congress’s Meenakshi Natarajan had defeated the BJP candidate Dr. Laxminarayan Pandey.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP’s candidate Sudhir Gupta defeated Congress’s Meenakshi Natarajan to wrest back the seat by a margin of 303,649 votes.
Mandsour is seeing a tight battle between the Congress and the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, with the odds mostly in favour of the BJP. BJP’s Sudhir Gupta is leading the scene after the initial counting in the constituency.
The Congress has once again fielded Meenakshi Natarajan against the BJP’s Sudhir Gupta who had defeated her in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
