The fate of two former police officers, an ex-bureaucrat, a national spokesperson of the BJP, a media baron and the Congress’ Odisha unit chief will be decided as six Lok Sabha and 42 assembly seats poll on Tuesday in the third phase of national elections.More than 9.2 million people in the six Lok Sabha and 42 assembly constituencies will cast their votes in 10,464 polling booths across the state. There are 61 candidates in the fray in the Lok Sabha seats and 356 candidates in assembly constituencies.The Lok Sabha seats polling on Tuesday are Bhubaneswar, Puri, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Sambalpur and Dhenkanal. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan are among the early ones to cast their vote for the third phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha on Tuesday.
Patnaik cast his vote at Booth No-112 at Aerodrome Colony UP School here.
Pradhan, along with his wife, cast his vote at Deulabeda Telisahi Primary School booth in Talcher.
Voting has been delayed at several places in the state due to technical glitches in electronic voting machines, reports IANS.

An estimated six per cent of 92.56 lakh voters exercised their franchise in the first two hours of polling Tuesday in six Lok Sabha and 42 assembly constituencies of Odisha, an election official said.
Long queues of voters were seen outside the polling stations, even before the process commenced at 7 am, he said, reports PTI.

Voting begins for third phase Lok Sabha polls in Odisha
The third phase elections for the six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly constituencies in Odisha commenced on Tuesday.
Voting began at 7 a.m. and it will continue till 6 p.m.. In the Maoists affected areas, polling will end at 4 p.m., said an election officer, reports IANS.
