Within 60 minutes of a missing case being reported, the Mumbai police reunited a six-year-old boy with his parents on Tuesday.
The six-year-old boy finally reunited with his family after 60 minutes
According to VM Kakad, senior police inspector of Matunga police station, the boy’s father, Dr Prashant Deshmukh, approached them on Tuesday morning to register a complaint about his son Rajdeep going missing. The boy was with his parents at Matunga market when he strayed away.
Kakad said that within minutes of the Deshmukh’s complaint, the police officers and a search party left to track the boy.
The search party found the boy near the Maheshwari School premises.
The team then brought the boy to the police station and reunited him with his parents.
“The boy had just wandered off in the crowd but the search party did not waste any time, and found him before he wandered further away,” said Kakad.
