Shiv Sena demands financial assistance to Aurangabad riot-affected families
The demand comes days after Muslim legislators met the CM and demanded action against police and local Sena leaders for inciting the riots
The Shiv Sena has demanded financial assistance for the families who suffered losses in the Aurangabad riots two weeks ago. Shiv Sena leader and state transport minister, Diwakar Raote, met chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday and handed over a letter urging him to help the riot-affected families.

Raote said dozens of innocent citizens from Aurangabad have lost their homes and sustained losses due to arson attack during the clashes that broke out on May 11 between two communities. Raote said the families are poor and in need of immediate financial help.
The demand comes days after Muslim legislators cutting across party lines met Fadnavis and demanded action against police and local Sena leaders for inciting the riots.
