However, till that time, high humidity levels and high temperatures would continue to bring pre-monsoon showers to the city. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cloudy skies with rain or thundershowers in some areas on Saturday.

On Friday, while Colaba recorded 4.8mm of rain, the amount of rain in Santacruz was negligible. The maximum temperature in both Colaba and Santacruz dipped to 33 degree celsius from 36 degrees celsius. Even the minimum temperatures decreased to 25 degree celsius from 29 degree celsius repectively.

According to the forecast, temperature on Saturday is also likely to remain close to normal with maximum temperature at 34 degree Celsius and minimum at 26 degree Celsius.
