Teen 'kicked' out of train, dies

Being kicked out of a train by an unidentified person allegedly cost a minor boy his life. The police, however, suspect a foul play, as the deceased had no injury marks on his body.

According to his friends, deceased Salman Khan, 17, a resident of Byculla boarded the train at Byculla. At Matunga, the three boys got off to drink water. While trying to board the next train, an unknown man allegedly kicked Khan out of the train.

He fell unconscious and his two friends took him to Bhabha Hospital in Kurla where he was declared dead. The body was then sent to Rajawadi hospital for post-mortem.

“We have registered a case of accidental death. There are many discrepancies in the theory given by the friends of the deceased,” said P Mansukh, police inspector of Dadar GRP.
