“Once was because we weren’t allowed to take photos at Bandra reclamation, the other time was because we weren’t driving properly,” she said. Notwithstanding this, Fitter, a first year Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) student at Khalsa College, along with her classmates have put together an exhibition of photos of the city.

The exhibition, Mumbai: Then and Now, compares the city with a display of images from the past collected by the students. The history of Mumbai is one of the modules on the BMM course.

This is one of the events that the college has organised as a part of the college’s celebration of 50 years of Maharashtra.

(The exhibition is on at Khalsa College from 11 am to 4 pm)
