Photos: India’s active Covid cases over 3 lakh with highest single-day spike

  • India recorded 43,846 new infections of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on March 21 -- the highest daily spike in Covid-19 cases recorded this year. Also with 20,693 new active cases reported on March 21, India’s active cases tally crossed the 3 lakh mark. According to experts, the sharp rise in Covid-19 cases recorded in March indicates towards an evident second wave based on the increasing positivity rate and active cases.
