Elderly couple killed in robbery
An elderly couple bravely countered a robber in Kishan Nagar locality near Madan Flour Mill Chowk on Tuesday morning. The robber was nabbed by neighbours after the couple raised an alarm.

Retried chief bank manager of Punjab National Bank, 80-year-old RR Aggarwal, and his wife Asha (75) were alone at their home on Tuesday morning when an unknown boy entered their house and attacked Asha by punching her.
Hearing her shouts, Aggarwal came outside the room and confronted the boy who then attacked him. Aggarwal sustained minor injuries on his leg, back and arm.
Within few seconds, Asha came outside the house and started shouting for help, hearing which neighbours came outside and nabbed the boy before handing him to the police.
The Navi Baradari police took him in custody and the statement of the elderly couple was recorded. Till the filing of the report, police were yet to file a case in the incident.
