More shame, five-yr-old raped

In a shocking incident, a five-year-old was allegedly raped by two persons at Sanjay Colony in Industrial Area, Phase 1, on Thursday night. The two accused, working with the girl's father who is a labourer, were arrested.

In a shocking incident, a five-year-old was allegedly raped by two persons at Sanjay Colony in Industrial Area, Phase 1, on Thursday night. The two accused, working with the girl's father who is a labourer, were arrested.

Police said the five-year-old went missing from outside her house on Thursday evening around 8 pm. After all attempts to trace the girl proved futile, the parents complained to the police. The girl was recovered around 2 am from the railway tracks.

The girl narrated the abuse to her mother and identified the two as her father's friends. The girl's medical examination confirmed rape.

The police carried out raids and nabbed the two accused, identified as Manish and Sunil. A case has been registered
