Considered the oldest cricket ground in Punjab, last time the stadium hosted the match was way back in 1997. Punjab Cricket Association secretary MP Pandove, after taking stock of the arrangements at the stadium, said the association was expecting a decent crowd. Entry for the general public is free.
The match will feature top international stars Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh for Punjab along with World Cup probable and Haryana medium pacer Mohit Sharma. International spinner Amit Mishra, also a World Cup probable, will be seen in action for Haryana.
