Shivarajkumar’s Tagaru completes 100 days successfully, becomes biggest hit of the year

Shivarajkumar’s Tagaru has completed 100 day theatrical run in 15 centres.

Kannada superstar Shivarajakumar’s Tagaru that hit the screens on February 23 has completed a theatrical run of 100 days in 15 centers and has emerged as one of the biggest Kannada blockbusters in recent times. The film directed by Duniya Soori has Shivanna playing the lead role of ACP Shivakuma. Actor Bhavana was cast opposite him as his fiance.

Speaking to Bangalore Mirror, distributor Jayanna had said, “The film is set to complete 100 days in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hassan, Shivamogga, Davangere and Mandya. In Bengaluru, it will complete 100 days in Santhosh and Veeresh and probably Siddalingeshwara. As of now, I see it completing 100 days in 8 to 9 single screens and 5 to 6 multiplexes.”

The film successfully completed its run in a number of single screens and multiplexes in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hassan, Shivamogga, Davangere and Mandya.

Duniya Soori and Shivarajkumar teamed up for the second to work on Tagaru after having collaborated in Kaddupidi, which was also a big hit at the box office in 2018.

The cop drama also stars Dhananjay, Vasishta Simha, Manvitha Harish, Bhavana Menon, Devaraj and others in prominent roles. The film has music composed by Charan Raj, and cinematography by Mahendra Simha.
