India's Somdev Devvarman entered the Western and Southern Financial Group Masters tennis main draw with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over American Tim Smykczek in the final qualifying round.

After Sunday's win over Smykczek, the 103-ranked Indian now faces 114th-ranked American wildcard Robby Ginepri in the first round. It is the first time the two players will face each other.

In the doubles, India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi will open against American wildcards Bobby Reynolds and Rajiv Ram.
