Bobby Deol is the son of actor Dharmendra and his first wife Prakash Kaur. He is the younger brother of Sunny Deol. Bobby made his acting debut in Barsaat in 1995 opposite Twinkle Khanna. The film was a massive hit and gave Bobby the perfect launch pad. He was then seen in hits such as Gupt, Soldier, Badal, Bicchoo and Tango Charlie. With the advent of new millenium, Bobby's star began to dim and he was sitting without work at home for many years. 

He was then approached by Salman Khan to work with him in Race 3. However, the film was a dud. Bobby had a renaissance of sorts with his relaunch in the OTT space. His shows Ashram and Class of 83 were hits. He will be seen as the antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, which releases on December 1, 2023.
