Meerut Metro unveiled, to run on RRTS corridor

World Bank to help develop Haryana RRTS projects including Delhi-Gurugram line

Space for 8k vehicles in parking lots at RRTS stations: NCRTC

According to a statement by NCRTC, the Sarai Kale Khan station will have the largest parking space in Delhi, and the second largest parking space on the overall train network

NCRTC seeks land to set up concrete plant for RRTS line

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has requested 1.81 hectares of land near the Delhi Gurugram Expressway to set up a concrete batching and mixing plant for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project. The plant will be used for casting girders and tunnel segments. The proposed land requisition is currently under consideration. The RRTS corridor will be constructed in three phases, with the first phase connecting Delhi to Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror. The project is awaiting approval from the central government.

RRTS:Blue and beige stations sport multiple add-on features for passengers

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has colored each station on the RRTS 17km priority section in Ghaziabad in shades of blue and beige, drawing inspiration from the hues of peacock feathers. The stations are spacious and equipped with amenities such as vehicle parking, restrooms, and ticket vending machines that allow passengers to bypass long queues. The stations are also being developed to meet the highest rating of the Indian Green Building Council and are solar powered.

RRTS viaduct above Delhi Metro’s Blue Line completed

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has completed the construction of a viaduct over the Delhi Metro's Blue Line corridor, a key step towards completing the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project between Delhi and Meerut. The viaduct will run above the Metro corridor at a height of 20m, providing seamless connectivity for commuters. The construction of the RRTS corridor within Ghaziabad is complete, and the section between Ghaziabad and Meerut will be functional by March 2023. The entire Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor is expected to be operational by 2025.
