4 Indians now confirmed dead in human smuggling operation at Canada-US border: Police

In an update, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police said, “The identities of the four Indian nationals have not yet been confirmed and next of kin have not yet been notified. Until confirmed, names will not be released to the public.”

Over 200,000 people left without electricity in Canada's Ontario

The local power company said that crews were responding to outages affecting over 200,000 consumers as strong winds gusting up to 90 or 100 kilometres per hour have caused broken poles and fallen trees on lines.
