Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the Opposition to shed negativity and confrontational attitudes in Parliament and embrace positivity for the benefit of the country. He made the comments on the opening day of the winter session, following the Bharatiya Janata Party's recent victories in three key states. Modi called for cooperation and suggested that the Opposition should debate the shortcomings of the government rather than express frustration. He warned that it would not be good for democracy if the Opposition's image became associated with hatred and negativity.
Before the start of the Parliament's Winter Session, PM advised the Opposition to learn lessons from the defeat in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
