On Sunday, Telangana reported 1,269 positive cases for Covid-19, besides eight deaths, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 34,671 and the death toll to 356.

K Chandraiah, 52, who had suffered 60% burns in the attack on November 4 and had been undergoing treatment at Apollo-DRDO Hospitals in Hyderabad, suffered sudden cardiac arrest.

Hyderabad judge arrested in corruption case for having assets worth over Rs 3 crore

A judge in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district court was arrested on Thursday for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income after a series of raids by the state anti-corruption bureau, according to a statement issued by the latter.
