Sacking of consultants hits work at EV cell: Delhi govt
The Delhi government's EV Cell, responsible for implementing the Delhi Electric Vehicles policy, is facing a setback after its CEO and five experts were sacked. Their termination has brought work in the department to a halt, and if the current policy is not extended or a new one is not introduced, subsidies for EV purchases in Delhi will end on August 8. The government has not yet confirmed its plans regarding the policy.
