Rare two-nosed rescue cat up for adoption, netizens find her ‘cute’
“I need this double-snouted kitty in my life,” expressed an individual while reacting to the Facebook post featuring the rare two-nosed cat.
A homeless cat with two noses was rescued by Cats Protection’s Warrington Adoption Centre. The cat was named Nanny McPhee by the adoption centre’s staff after the fictional film character who also has a distinctively shaped nose. At first, the staff thought that the four-year-old feline had one large nose. However, upon a check-up by veterinary staff, it was discovered that she had two noses.

“A four-year-old moggy, who came into the care of Cats Protection Warrington Adoption Centre, was thought to have a large nose, but it turns out she actually has two noses,” wrote Cats Protection, a UK-based animal charity organisation on Facebook.
In the next few lines, the adoption centre gave insights into this unique condition.“Nanny McPhee’s double nose was caused by a rare congenital abnormality, but, thankfully has no ill effects. Nanny McPhee is a gentle lady who loves fuss and a cuddle and should be going to her forever home soon,” the organisation added. Alongside, they shared two pictures.
The pictures show an adorable black and white cat with a tan streak on its face and a double nose.
