The footage from Sunday, August 23, shows Harp near the track area as Donald Trump and Melania Trump arrived for the race. Harp was seen talking with Eric Trump and greeting Donald Trump Jr. as security worked around the group.
The video then shows Melania near the presidential vehicle while Trump greeted people nearby. At points, security personnel appeared to direct people, including Harp, away from the president. But there is no clear audio showing that an agent was specifically assigned to stop Harp from approaching Trump.
The viral claim goes further than what the footage itself proves. The online post described Harp as being “boxed out” and suggested an agent was keeping her away from Donald Trump because Melania was present.
