Bigg Boss 10: A tentative list of celebrity contestants
As the makers of controversial reality show Bigg Boss, share introductory videos of the ‘common’ contestants, we bring you a tentative list of celebrities who are likely to be a part of the tenth season of the show .
Television reality show Bigg Boss will focus on the common man this year. For the first time, the show has opened its doors to the common people to appear as contestants along with the celebs. The 10th season will premier on October 16 at 9pm on COLORS channel with Salman Khan hosting the show.

1. Mayur Verma
Confirming his participation, the actor, best known for his role in TV show Swaragini, said: “I have been selected as a contestant for upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Last year, I had been nominated as a wild card contestant. However as it was right after my break-up with Marina (Marina Kuwar), I thought to refrain from sharing same screen space. But this time, I am very much looking forward to being on the show,” Mayur said in a statement.
2. VJ Bani
The model-anchor, of MTV Roadies fame, often featured in probable list of Bigg Boss candidates but has never made it all the way inside the house so far. It remains to be seen whether she will be a participant this year.
3. Rohan Mehra
Another TV actor rumoured to be one of the few celebs on Bigg Boss 10 is Rohan Mehra, best known for his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
4. Parth Samthaan
TV actor Parth Samthaan, who essays the role of Manik Malhotra in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, may also feature on the controversial reality show.
5. Rahul Raj Singh
Rahul, who has been accused of allegedly abetting the suicide of his former girlfriend Pratyusha Banerjee, may also be seen on Bigg Boss 10.
6. Sana Saeed
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai child actress Sana, is also one of the common names often rumoured to be participating in Bigg Boss every year. Will she get inside the house this time?
7. Nakshatra Bagwe
Filmmaker and gay-rights activist Nakshatra is likely to feature in Bigg Boss 10.
The makers also approached many other celebrities including actor Kabir Bedi and activist Trupti Dessai but they refused the offers.
Bigg Boss is on the lines of the British television show Big Brother. The show’s format keeps participants locked inside a house for three months with no access to the outside world.
At the end of the last season in January this year, Bigg Boss producers invited general public to register for the show. However, with the TRPs falling for past few years, celebs and controversial characters will be brought in as wild card entries and guests.
