American Express has sued the Two and a Half Men star for his outstanding credit card bills. Blaming the situation on a former business manager, Sheen says, ‘If I was AMEX, I’d be suing me too!’
Former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen has an outstanding balance of USD 287,879.28 on his Platinum American Express card and the company has taken legal action against him.
The 50-year-old actor should have paid his bill by March 12 and has incurred late fees of USD 8,357.69, reported Female First. Blaming the situation on a former business manager, told TMZ, “If I was AMEX, I’d be suing me too!!”
The Dailymail reported that Sheen is said to have wracked up a remarkable $8,357.69 late penalties alone.
This is the latest financial issue for Sheen, who has filed documents asking to have his USD 55,000 a month child support payments to both of his ex-wives drastically reduced as his wealth isn’t what it once was.
Sheen had earlier revealed that he pays $105,000 bills per month and an additional $25,000 for medical costs.
